Action Camp



Delivered by Young Wales, an innovative social enterprise based in South Wales. It is a three day residential event covering a number of themes, primarily though not exclusively aimed at young people aged eleven to eighteen who live in Objective One areas. -

The camp is based in the Kiln Park Holiday Centre near Tenby, which provides access to a wide range of facilities and activities that give the attendees the chance of a traditional holiday experience. The venue is operated by Haven which is the largest operator of caravan parks in the UK with 35 parks, it offers a safe and secure environment with a wide variety of facilities offering a full daytime and evening entertainments facilities. Action Camp has its own dedicated area within the holiday complex with toilet and shower facilities adjacent.

Safety
The park is open to residents only with 24-hour security patrols and barrier entry system in place.
The sleeping arrangements are divided into male and female with each tent having at least one adult youth worker present at all times. Workers have their own separate tent within the main tent to afford privacy. Action Camp staff are on duty 24hours.
